It was not made to be subtle.

KAMACKO is a hybrid brand shaped by Parisian precision, Balearic warmth, and Madagascar craft, created for the daring and unapologetic.

Its aesthetic is defined by minimal lines with maximal impact. I design unafraid of bold colour, scale or texture, creating pieces that are made to be seen and built to claim space.

This crochet isn’t quiet and its ethics are not neutral. Every piece begins with the hands of master artisans in Madagascar called "les mains d’or". They are working slowly and precisely with raphia, a noble fibre endemic to the island, cultivated, harvested, and ethically dyed into vibrant, powerful colours.

Kamacko was built with the need to create something focused on humans and our skills. As a knitwear designer, Juliette wanted to carry on in the same field but create pieces entirely handmade in crochet. This decision led her to Madagascar, as the women there are specialists in this craft and have been crocheting for generation.

This crochet isn’t quiet and its ethics are not neutral.

Kamacko is made for the ones who dare. Our bags claim space and so do the people who wear them.

We want to grow a community that is audacious, curious and also grounded with integrity. Our strength lies in the hands that craft and in the time it takes to create pieces that carry these bold intentions.

If you are here it’s because you already carry this spirit in you. You have the courage to choose bold colours when the world expect something quieter and to support ethical hand made work by artisans carrying generations of knowledge.

I am Juliette, founder of Kamacko.

I grew up in Paris and lived in London, New York, and Milan before settling in Palma de Mallorca. After 15 years in luxury knitwear, I felt the urge to create something more human, more personal, more connected.

Kamacko was born from that conviction: to create pieces rooted in craftsmanship, handmade by talented women in Madagascar using natural fibers.

I reimagine crochet with bold colours and striking visuals, far from the expected. This is my way of expressing a visceral need for joy, for colour, for freedom.

I want my bags to shift the everyday landscape, to bring joy, and to inspire courage in a world that often encourages sameness. Being bold is a strength.

Respect guides everything I do: for people, for time, for materials. And I want Kamacko to connect different cultures together that are crucial to the process. Between Mallorca and Madagascar, through my Parisian gaze.

It is not just a bag. It’s a statement. I want to encourage everyone to follow this english saying: You do you.
